Melissa is a senior stylist with 21 years of experience in hair, following in the footsteps of her father, who was a hairstylist and the owner of Puressence Spa Salon. She has taken her passion for making people look and feel her best all the way to Bermuda for a short period of time, but has now taken on the role of salon owner here at The Next Gen Salon and Spa.
Specialty: Melissa specializes in creating beautiful blondes and is certified in Hot Heads, a non-damaging tape in extension method. She loves all things Aveda, but her go-to is the Damage Remedy-Daily Hair Repair which is a product that instantly detangles, repairs and protects against heat.
Oliver Reis

After running his successful namesake salon for decades, Oliver has joined The NextGen Salon and Spa team as a Senior Stylist. He’s earned a much deserved break from the day-to-day operations of running a business and is now spending his time getting back to what he loves most, hairstyling. When not making clients feel their best, he can be found on the golf course.
Amy Harman

Amy has been a stylist since 2005, but before her schooling and certification she was that young girl who was always doing everyone’s hair and experimenting with her own. A natural listener, Amy enjoys spending time with family and being immersed in music.
Larisa Seremet
Junior Stylist
A graduate from the Aveda Institute Winnipeg in 2022, hairstyling is a way for Larisa to express her creativity and connect with people. Making clients feel amazing when people leave the chair is one of her favourite things about styling. She loves crafting beautiful blondes and dimensional brunettes. When not working she loves baking, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
